This illustration was done in clip studio paint, it was intended for a stream background for a client, and the fireflies were to be animated and moving around slowly and softly into a loop. Easiest format for this would be exported as a gif.
Created with a fan character in mind; this is an inkling from the ‘Splatoon’ franchise. The image was created with motion in mind, and the fact the character held a molotov was to be a laughing point in contrast to the child-like paint gun nature of the game.
He was also later converted into a sticker with supporting text angled to the top left.
This image was a commission for a client as a Christmas gift, featuring their Nagan (snake person) OC eating at Dairy Queen, a Canadian fast food place. This image on and off took about 2-3 weeks and a lot of edits and adjustments before I was finally happy with it.
